Trio Kurtag

A programme of music for string trio, starting in the 17th century England with Purcell, and bringing us to 20th century France with Jean Françaix’s very lively work. Two works from 18th and 19th century Vienna complete the programme, which will be performed by the young and upcoming Trio Kurtag. Founded in 2021, they have given concerts in major venues including Wigmore Hall, the Festival Hall and the Barbican. Programme:
