Chris Dance
We were very sorry to hear that Chris died suddenly this week. He was well known throughout the area for his deep knowledge of music, especially early music and for his participation in the Arts Society, the u3a Theatre Group and many more. Chris was admired for his erudition in writing many of the Musical Notes in the SMC's concert programmes over the years and for his support of SMC. He will be missed.
Charles Hebert
There will be a Condolences Book open at February's Concert for those who wish to leave their thoughts about our chairman Charles Hebert who passed away on 22nd January after a long illness. We are all deeply saddened by the loss of this vibrant, inspiring friend.
