Trio Gaspard

Founded in 2010, Trio Gaspard is one of the most sought-after piano trios of their genera!on, praised for their unique and fresh approach to the score. They are regularly invited to play in major international concert halls, such as Wigmore Hall and Berlin Philharmonie. In 2022 they appeared in the BBC Proms. They have recently embarked on a project to record all of the Haydn piano trios, and will play two of them for us, along with works by three very different composers. Programme:

- Brahms: Piano Trio No 2 in C, Op 87
- Haydn: Piano Trio in G minor, Hob XV/1
- Beamish: Trance for Piano Trio (Trio Gaspard commission 2023)
- Liszt: Hungarian Rhapsody No 9 'Carnival in Pest'
